Bertempat di Kampung Yetti Distrik Arso Timur Kabupaten Keerom, Satgas Pamtas RI-PNG Yonif Mekanis Raider 413 Kostrad Pos Yetti memperkenalkan budaya Pulau Jawa kepada anak-anak Papua dengan memberikan baju batik Khas Solo.
Hal tersebut diungkapkan Dansatgas Pamtas RI-PNG Yonif MR 413 Kostrad Mayor Inf Anggun Wuriyanto S.H., M.Han dalam rilis tertulisnya di Distrik Muara Tami Kota Jayapura. Kamis (05/11).
Dansatgas menyebutkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan Pos Yetti tersebut merupakan cara memperkenalkan salah satu budaya Indonesia kepada anak-anak di Perbatasan RI-PNG. “Memang sudah kami siapkan sebelumnya untuk memberikan baju batik kepada anak-anak Papua. Hal Ini salah satu upaya memperkenalkan kepada mereka akan kekayaan budaya yang kita miliki.” Ucap Anggun.
“Selain kepada anak-anak, kita juga memberikan transformasi kebudayaan yang kita miliki kepada masyarakat dewasa lainnya dan tidak harus pengguna batik itu berasal dari Jawa saja, melainkan semua warga Negara Indonesia bisa memakainya. Kita patut bersyukur memiliki budaya yang begitu kaya dan semoga tetap lestari.” Tambahnya.
Dikatakan oleh Mama Natalie (34), Salah satu dari orang tua anak-anak yang mendapatkan baju batik bahwa putrinya semakin terlihat cantik setelah menggunakan baju tersebut. “Eliza (5) terlihat cantik setelah pakai baju batik.
