Jakarta : Masyarakat Pemerhati Bulu Tangkis Indonesia (MPBI) kembali melakukan audiensi dengan pengurus PBSI, Rabu (15/9/2021) di Markas PP PBSI Pelatnas Cipayung Jakarta Timur.
Pertemuan tersebut dihadiri oleh pihak PP PBSI, Syahroni selaku Kabid SI dan Keabsahan serta didampingi oleh para Kasubdit yaitu : Tyo, Ali, Muji dan Siman. Sedangkan dari pihak MPBI diwakili oleh Kurniadi selaku Ketua Umum MPBI serta didampingi oleh Pohan, Edy bagus dan Amir.
Kurniadi dalam keterangan Whatsappnya menyebutkan bahwa MPBI melakukan pertemuan khusus dengan Bidang Keabsahan PP PBSI sebagai tindak lanjut dari pertemuan tanggal 2 September lalu.
Pembahasan menyangkut masalah ‘bedah kasus’ terhadap dokumen atlet yang dicurigai memberikan keterangan tidak benar / kasus pencurian umur. Dalam keterangannya disebutkan bahwa dalam kasus pencurian umur tersebut ada 5 (lima) nama atlet berbeda klub dan daerah kelahirannya.
Menyikapi masalah ini, MPBI mendorong agar dilakukan langkah pidana terhadap aktor utama dibalik pemberian data palsu tersebut, sehingga menimbulkan efek jera sekaligus pelajaran agar kejadian tersebut tidak terulang kembali.
“Jujur saja secara pribadi, diri saya sangat sedih saat melihat dokumen – dokumennya. Sedih karena membayangkan sosok sang anak yang imut, polos, sopan dan sedang berjuang meraih impiannya, sedih melihat dokumen – dokumen yang dipalsukan seakan tidak bermasalah dan sangat sedih membayangkan kehidupan keluarga para oknum orang dewasanya jika terpaksa diteruskan ke langkah pemidanaan” ujar Kurniadi
Sebagai langkah awal, Kurniadi mengatakan bahwa MPBI menyarankan agar dilaksanakan masa ‘pemutihan’ terhadap data-data tersebut sebagai tahap peringatan. (Red)
