Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin IV, Jaya Wikrama Raden Muhammad Fauwaz Diradja mengatakan, bahwa kedatangan Buay Berunguh kerajaan adat Paksi Pak Skala Brak, Provinsi Lampung Barat dalam rangka silaturahmi dan mempererat hubungan antara kerajaan asal Lampung Barat dengan Kesultanan Palembang.

“Kegiatan ini adalah ajang silaturahmi sekaligus melestarikan budaya kesultanan Palembang Darussalam maupun Buay Berunguh kerajaan adat Paksi Pak Skala Brak, Provinsi Lampung Barat,” ujar Fauwaz Prabudiraja kepada wartawan disela-sela kegiatan.

Dirinya menjelaskan, bahwa ini momen yang sangat bagus dalam merajut hubungan baik dengan Buay Berunguh kerajaan adat Paksi Pak Skala Brak, Provinsi Lampung Barat hingga bertukar pikiran dalam upaya melestarikan tradisi dan budaya kedua belah pihak kerajaan.

“Kita harapkan melalui kegiatan ini hubungan kita dengan Buay Berunguh kerajaan adat Paksi Pak Skala Brak, Provinsi Lampung Barat semakin erat hubungannya,” katanya.

Sementara itu, Sultan Junjungan Sakti Buay Belunguh kerajaan adat Paksi Pak Skala Brak generasi ke-27, Drs Yanuar Firmansyah mengatakan, bahwa kunjungannya ke istana adat Kesultanan Palembang Darussalam Palembang tidak lain untuk mempererat tali silaturahmi.

“Kunjungan kita untuk bersilaturahmi dan juga untuk bersama-sama melestarikan budaya dan peninggalan kerajaan antara kedua belah pihak,” aku dia usai kegiatan tersebut.
