MEDAN – BERITATERKINI.CO.ID – Federasi Arung Jeram Indonesia (FAJI) Sumatera Utara menggagas implementasi prosedur sektor keselamatan pariwisata tirta pada destinasi wisata agar menjamin keamanan dan keselamatan wisatawan.
Ketua Umum FAJI Sumut Soekirman di Medan, Selasa (18/1) mengatakan program ini dalam rangka menjaga keamanan dan keselamatan para pengunjung sebuah destinasi wisata tirta agar nantinya dapat menanggulangi resiko yang dihadapi oleh pengunjung.
“Kami datang kesini (Disbudpar Sumut) adalah untuk menggagas program keselamatan wisata tirta sebagai bentuk kolaborasi dan kerjasama dalam mendukung program pengembangan destinasi pariwisata di Sumut,” katanya ketika beraudensi dengan Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Sumut Zumri Sulthony.
Soekirman yang juga mantan Bupati Serdang Bedagai, menambahkan saat ini masih banyak di beberapa destinasi wisata alam di Sumatera Utara belum menjamin keselamatan bagi wisatawan.
“Saya mengimbau kepada pemerintah, para pelaku pariwisata yang mengelola wisata tirta untuk memiliki legalitas kelompok keselamatan di sektor wisata tirta,” tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata Sumut Zumri Sulthony, S.Sos, M.Si mengatakan pihaknya siap mendukung penuh program keselamatan wisata tirta yang digagas FAJI pada destinasi pariwisata khususnya di wisata alam untuk menjamin dan melindungi keselamatan dan keamanan wisatawan melalui upaya pencegahan kecelakaan.
Ia berharap kepada asosiasi usaha dan profesi terkait Wisata Arung Jeram juga mengikuti panduan Pelaksanaan Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) dan memiliki legalitas kelompok untuk Wisata Arung Jeram demi meningkatkan keyakinan para pihak, reputasi usaha dan destinasi pariwisata.
“Untuk diketahui untuk tahun 2022 ini pemerintah provinsi Sumatera Utara fokus pengembangan pariwisata di Langkat untuk wilayah Bahorok, Bukit Lawang dan Tangkahan, untuk itu saya mengajak FAJI Sumut untuk ikut berkolaborasi,” katanya.
