Palembang, Berita Terkini.Co.Id — Penyusunan Master Plan kawasan sentra produksi pangan (Food Estate) berbasis korporasi provinsi Sumatera Selatan melibatkan pihak Universitas Sriwijaya dalam mendampingi evaluasi dan menyusun rencana food Estate Sumatera Selatan setahun ke depan.

Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan melalui Kepala Dinas Pertanian, Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura Pemrov Sumsel, R Bambang Pramoni menuturkan bahwa Kementerian mensyaratkan food estate petani berbasis korporasi.

Alhamdulillah Sumsel sudah terbentuk korporasi walaupun ada juga Kabupaten/kota yang belum buat badan hukum makanya hari ini kita dorong itu,” ungkap Bambang ketika dibincangi bertempat di hotel Santika premier Palembang, Kamis (29/9/2022).

Bambang menerangkan bahwa anggota korporasi terdiri dari petani itu sendiri yang membentuk suatu lembaga yang disebut dengan korporasi petani, bertujuan menyusun, merencanakan dan melakukan penanaman secara bersama-sama dalam satu manajemen.

“Salah satu syaratnya juga di Sumsel adalah harus melibatkan pihak swasta dimana kami telah menggandeng PT Rusna penggilingan padi, topi koki dan PT Buyung yang menjadi obyeker hipotesis,” beber Bambang.

Sumsel mempunyai tujuh kabupaten penghasil padi dan 10 kabupaten penghasil jagung, dalam hal ini pihaknya mengajak kabupaten/kota yang mempunyai hasil produksi sayur-sayuran dan buah-buahan yang cukup baik di Sumsel untuk bergabung.

“Peran pemerintah dalam memenuhi salah satu syarat dari food estate adalah harus ada dana dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah,” ujarnya.

Tahun ini pihaknya mendapatkan 3.000 hektar pendampingan dan tahun depan di tahun 2023 diharapkan bisa sampai 10.000 hektar untuk pendamping dari Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah.

“Salah satu produk dari penyusunan Master planning ini yakni mengantisipasi penurunan harga di saat panen raya yang biasanya terjadi pada bulan Januari,” pungksnya.(Rizky)
