“Apa yang bisa dilakukan sekarang itu adalah jangan menjelek-jelekkan partai lain, jangan menjelek-jelekkan orang, berbuat baiklah kepada masyarakat sebanyak-banyaknya. Berbuatlah kepada keluarga semaksimal mungkin dan ke masyarakat, sehingga nanti otomatis masyarakat akan melihat, karena dunianya sudah dunia digital,” kata Putu Sudiartana, saat dikonfirmasi di Denpasar, Rabu, 16 November 2022.
Mengingat dunia sosmed berkembang pesat, Putu Sudiartana mengingatkan kader-kader Demokrat atau orang-orang yang mau mencalonkan diri, baik di eksekutif maupun legislatif, agar berbuatlah hal terbaik untuk kepentingan masyarakat lantaran di dunia sekarang ini sudah sangat mudah diketahui track record calon-calon wakil rakyat yang akan maju dalam Pemilu 2024.
Oleh karena itu, Putu Sudiartana berpesan terhadap kader-kader Demokrat yang mau maju Pemilu 2024, agar tetap sopan dan santun, mentaati aturan-aturan serta jangan lupa banyak membaca buku-buku politik, karena politik itu bagian dari kesenian kalau memang dinikmati, namun sebaliknya kata orang, politik itu kejam, makanya dinamakan politik.
“Hal ini untuk kepentingan kader-kader Demokrat. Jangan bikin riuh dan bersainglah dengan baik, sopan dan santun. Mau kalah, mau menang sudah hal yang biasa. Mau kalah juga jadi rakyat, mau menang juga akan menjadi rakyat, sehingga hanya waktu pengabdian melengkapi kurikulum vitae dalam kehidupan, melengkapi sejarah-sejarah hidup dalam kehidupan,” ungkapnya.
Untuk itu, Putu Sudiartana menyebutkan banyak jalan untuk bisa mengabdikan diri buat kepentingan masyarakat, baik dari partai politik, wakil rakyat, LSM, ormas dan lain-lain.
“Banyak jalan mengabdi kepada masyarakat, sehingga kita tidak perlu terlalu ambisius untuk menjadi pejabat atau wakil rakyat, bupati, karena semakin tinggi jabatannya semakin kencang juga anginnya, sehingga kita mesti harus datar-datar saja,” pungkasnya. (ace/surya).
