LAHAT, BERITATERKINI.co.id – Warga Desa Manggul Kecamatan Lahat Kabupaten Lahat mengeluhkan kondisi Jalan Persimpangan Manggul kian hari kian rusak parah sehingga rawan terjadinya kecelakaan bagi pengguna jalan.
“Kondisi cekung di pertigaan jalan sudah dalam, sehingga membuat pengendara kesulitan,”kata salah satu warga Desa Manggul , Feru kepada media ini, pada Minggu (30/04/23).
Dia menyebutkan, di lokasi tersebut pengendara roda dua sudah sering terpeleset dan terjatuh, sehingga mengalami luka lecet, terlebih bagi pengendara yang baru pertama kali melintasi jalan tersebut, dikarenakan mereka tidak mengetahui kondisi jalan.
“Sudah banyak pengendara yang jatuh di jalan tersebut dan kendaraan roda dua sering terpeleset,” katanya.
Ia mengatakan, jalan tersebut juga merupakan jalan alternatif yang bisa menembus jalur ke jalan baru nembus batai yang berada di Kecamatan Pagar Agung.
“Ini bisa menjadi akses jalan alternatif bagi bus atau kendaraan roda 4 lainnnya dari arah palembang atau kota lain nya dari jawa menuju Linggau dan kota lain nya katanya
Salah seorang pengendara sepeda motor asal Prabumulih, Jhoni mengungkapkan, jalan alternatif tersebut sering digunakan, karena menghindari jalur pusat kota lahat yang selalu padat. Selain itu, jalan di Desa Manggul ini dinilai lebih dekat dibanding melewati jalur utama.
Agus warga manggul menambahkan, rusaknya jalan tersebut sering membuat ban kendaraannya mengalami bocor ban akibat melintasi jalan yang rusak, karena terdapat batu-batu tajam.
“Selama melewati jalur ini sudah dua kali ban motor saya bocor, bahkan saya juga sempat mau jatuh akibat jalan banyak batu,” katanya. (Erhan)
