“Sebenernya surat ini rencananya untuk di kirimkan ke 3 RT saja. Namun salah kirim ke grup RT makanya beredarlah surat ini. Surat ini adalah surat untuk contoh ke RT lain di Lingkungan Talang Keramat. Karena baru RT 09 yang buat,” ungkap Edi Firmansyah.
Tiga nama yang tertulis dan disebutkan dalam dugaan surat pernyataan dukungan itu adalah H. Herman Deru, Yaser S.E., dan Impian Yohadi, S.T. Diduga ketiganya adalah calon anggota legislatif dari salah satu partai politik tertentu.
Ia juga mengklaim jika tidak ada unsur politik apapun. Menurut Edi, surat ini hanya ucapan terima kasih terhadap calon tersebut yang berjanji akan masukan aliran air bersih karena sudah ada kesepakatan antara Gubernur Sumsel Herman Deru dengan Wakil Bupati Banyuasin Slamet Somosentono.
“Surat ini hanya ucapan terima kasih kepada calon tersebut dan untuk diserahkan ke calon tersebut karena kami sudah ketemu dengan calon tersebut,” tandas Edi.
Permasalahan ini sudah ditangani oleh Panitia Pengawas (Panwas) Kecamatan Talang Kelapa dan di ketahui Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Banyuasin.
Anggota Bawaslu Sumsel Divisi Penanganan Pelanggaran, Ahmad Naafi, mengingatkan agar Ketua RT tidak ikut jadi Tim Sukses Caleg atau Calon Kepala Daerah tertentu. Peringatan itu menyusul adanya laporan ketua RT secara terang-terangan mendukung caleg maupun bakal calon kepala daerah di Sumsel.
“Secara normatif, RT RW juga bagian unsur penyelenggara pemerintahan yang mengurusi aspek pelayanan dasar kepada masyarakat sehingga haruslah profesional dan netral, serta tidak terlibat dalam politik praktis peserta Pemilu,” katanya.
Untuk diketahui RT merupakan salah satu jenis Lembaga Kemasyarakatan Desa (LKD). LKD berdasarkan Pasal 1 angka 2 Permendagri 18./2018 adalah Lembaga Kemasyarakatan Desa yang selanjutnya disingkat LKD adalah wadah partisipasi masyarakat, sebagai mitra Pemerintah Desa, ikut serta dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan pengawasan pembangunan serta meningkatkan pelayanan masyarakat Desa.(RZP)
