Karangasem, beritaterkini.co.id | Banyak warga Karangasem sebagai pelanggan mengeluhkan pelayanan Perumda Tirta Tohlangkir (PDAM) Karangasem, bahkan warga hingga bosan untuk komplain karena pelayanan tetap saja tidak ada peningkatan.
Komplain atau penyampaian ketidakpuasan atas servis Perumda Tirta Tohlangkir (PDAM) Karangasem itu jelas bukan tanpa sebab.
Melainkan air bersih yang dijual Perumda Tirta Tohlangkir tidak maksimal hingga ke masyarakat yang menjadi pelanggannya. Padahal air bersih itu sudah menjadi kebutuhan pokok bagi seluruh masyarakat Karangasem.
Seperti yang dikeluhkan warga di Banjar Dinas Umanyar, Desa Ababi, Kecamatan Abang, di wilayahnya air sering tidak mengalir terutama di pagi hari, walaupun kadang mengalir tapi airnya sangat kecil.
“Sudah capek dan bosan komplain, malu terlalu sering komplain, yang paling parah itu, air mati dianggap biasa tapi kalau lambat bayar sehari kena denda 20 ribu”, keluh warga Umanyar, Sabtu, 6 Januari 2024.
Lanjutnya, seharusnya yang dinaikkan itu tingkat pelayanannya kepada pelanggan, bukan tarifnya, kalau pelayanan baik tarif naik mungkin tidak masalah bagi warga, lah ini tarif yang naik tapi pelayanan semakin buruk.
Hal senada juga dikeluhkan warga Banjar Dinas Cegeng, Desa Kerta Bhuana, Kecamatan Sidemen, bahkan lebih parah lagi.
Warga Cegeng bukan berlangganan air dengan Perumda Tirta Tohlangkir (PDAM) Karangasem, tetapi mereka berlangganan angin.
“Sudah 5 hari airnya mati disini, kran nya kalau di buka keluarnya angin bukan air, bayar bulanannya semakin mahal, air tidak ada, susah kalau tidak ada air, komplain juga sudah capek, terus-terusan seperti ini”, ungkap salah seorang warga Cegeng.
Belum lagi wilayah-wilayah lain yang memang agak kesusahan air, semestinya pemerintah harus mendengar dan serius mengatasi masalah air untuk masyarakat Karangasem. (Jabe)
