Pangkalan TNI Angkatan Laut (Lanal) Yogyakarta Lantamal V Koarmada II, berhasil panen perdana budidaya ikan lele hasil dari program ketahanan pangan yang telah dilaksanakan sejak masa Pandemi Covid-19 di kolam budidaya ikan lele Mako Lanal Yogyakarta Jl. Melati Wetan No. 62 Baciro Yogyakarta pada Jumat pagi (28/08/20).
Budidaya ikan lele sebagai upaya program ketahanan pangan dilaksanakan oleh Staf Potensi Maritim (Potmar) Lanal Yogyakarta dengan melibatkan kader Saka Bahari binaan Lanal Yogyakarta mulai melaksanakan penebaran bibit lele pada tanggal 20 Juni 2020 sebanyak 2100 ekor, selama kurang lebih 10 minggu budidaya berhasil memanen ikan sekitar 1.7 kwintal ikan lele siap konsumsi.
Ikan lele hasil panen perdana, selanjutnya dibagikan merata kepada segenap prajurit dan PNS Lanal Yogyakarta, dalam rangka untuk membantu ketahanan pangan dan meningkatkan gizi keluarga baik dimasa Pandemi Covid-19 maupun saat berlakunya adaptasi tatanan kehidupan baru New Normal saat ini.
Dalam kesempatan memimpin panen lele, Perwira Staf Potensi Maritim (Paspotmar) Lanal Yogyakarta Mayor Laut (P) Yuhanit menyampaikan harapannya bahwa
kegiatan budidaya dan panen lele ini tidak hanya saat ini kita dapat memanen dan menikmati hasilnya, seluruh program ketahanan pangan yang telah kita kerjakan saat ini harus dapat terus berlanjut serta dapat dikembangkan lagi kedepannya, sehingga nantinya dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan keluarga prajurit dan PNS kita, sehingga tidak terjadi dampak kekurangan bahan pangan bergizi keluarga.
Adapun sesaat menerima laporan kegiatan panen lele oleh Potmar Lanal Yogyakarta, Komandan Lanal (Danlanal) Yogyakarta Kolonel Laut (P) Aminuddin Albek, S.E, D.S.D.S, M.A.S.S., menyampaikan apresiasi dan atensinya bahwa melalui program ketahanan pangan Lanal Yogyakarta, salah satunya budidaya ikan lele tersebut harus terus dilanjutkan serta lebih ditingkatkan pada bidang ketahanan pangan lainnya, misalnya penanaman tanaman pangan dan sayur mayur, sehingga nantinya dapat dipanen dan dapat dinikmati seluruh keluarga besar Lanal Yogyakarta”, ungkap Danlanal Yogyakarta.
