Menpora Laporkan Desain Besar Sistem Keolahragaan Nasional

Menpora Zainudin Amali memberikan keterangan pers usai mengikuti Rapat Terbatas (Ratas) mengenai Rencana Pencalonan Indonesia Menjadi Tuan Rumah Olimpiade Tahun 2032, Rabu (4/11) siang.

Menteri Pemuda dan Olahraga (Menpora) Zainudin Amali telah melaporkan kepada Presiden Joko Widodo mengenai progres penyusunan desain besar atau grand design sistem keolahragaan nasional.

“Tentang prestasi, tadi juga kami sudah laporkan bahwa kami sekarang tahap finalisasi tentang grand design sistem keolahragaan nasional,” ujar Menpora usai mengikuti Rapat Terbatas (Ratas) mengenai Rencana Pencalonan Indonesia Menjadi Tuan Rumah Olimpiade Tahun 2032, Rabu (4/11) siang.

Hal tersebut, imbuh Menpora, sebagai respons arahan Presiden Joko Widodo pada Hari Olahraga Nasional (Haornas) ke-37, 9 September silam.

Dalam acara tersebut Presiden menginstruksikan agar Menpora, KOI (Komite Olimpiade Indonesia), dan KONI (Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia) untuk me-review total ekosistem olahraga nasional dan merancang tata kelola pembinaan atlet untuk meningkatkan prestasi olahraga Indonesia.

Diungkapkan Menpora, pihaknya tengah melakukan uji publik grand design tersebut.

“Sekarang ini kita sedang untuk road show untuk uji publik ke berbagai perguruan tinggi dan stakeholder lainnya.

Insyaallah ini juga akan menjadi grand design secara jangka panjang pembinaan olah raga nasional dan termasuk di dalamnya untuk Olimpiade 2032,” ungkapnya.

Ketua Umum KONI Marciano Norman mengharapkan dengan penjabaran grand design sistem keolahragaan nasional tersebut, KONI dapat mempertajam prestasi Indonesia pada Olimpiade 2032.

“Di sisi pembinaan prestasi olahraga, untuk saat ini yang selalu mendapat medali adalah bulu tangkis, angkat besi, dan panahan.

Kami mengharapkan melalui penjabaran grand design yang dibuat oleh Kemenpora, KONI dapat mempertajam agar pada Olimpiade tahun 2032 nanti kita tidak saja menjadi tuan rumah yang baik, tetapi peringkat kita yang pada (Olimpiade) 2016 kemarin di Rio adalah peringkat 46, kita bisa masuk ke-20-an, bahkan mungkin kita harapkan kita bisa lebih baik,” ujarnya.

KONI, imbuhnya, akan melaksanakan sebaik-baiknya dan menata kembali pembinaan prestasi olahraga jangka panjang sesuai arahan Kemenpora.

Terkait pencalonan Indonesia menjadi tuan rumah Olimpiade 2032, Marciano menegaskan bahwa KONI akan memberikan dukungan sepenuhnya kepada KOI dan Kemenpora dari sisi penguatan personel-personel apabila dibutuhkan untuk tim bidding.

“Bidding ini harus sukses sehingga kita dapat memenangkan jadi tuan rumah Olimpiade di tahun 2032,” tegasnya.

Jika terpilih menjadi tuan rumah nantinya, Ketua Umum KONI berharap agar pembangunan venue-venue menjelang Olimpiade tahun 2032 betul-betul standar internasional.

“Sehingga nanti tidak pada masa akhir baru membangun dengan cepat sehingga kadang-kadang kualitasnya bisa dikorbankan,” pungkasnya. (Red/AJ)
