Kedatangan Audy bersama Komedian Sumbar, Ajo Buset memancing gelak tawa. Audy menghampiri los-los para pedagang ternak sembari berinteraksi. Kotoran sapi yang memenuhi jalan kawasan pasar tersebut merupakan hal biasa bagi alumnus peternakan Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) ini. Ciri khas Audy yang memiliki sikap dan penampilan sederhana mendapatkan sanjungan dari para pedagang sapi.
“Pakai tarompa se pak kamari. Tu iyo tu merakyat bana cocok bana jadi pemimpin (Tu iya tuh merakyat kali, cocok betul jadi pemimpim),” puji salah satu pedagang ternak, Irfan kepada Audy, Senin (30/11/20).
“Alah biasonyo mode iko pak,” balas Audy dengan senyum manis kepada para pedagang.
Sementara itu, Irfan berharap Pasar Ternak Muaro Paneh dapat lebih baik lagi di bawah kepemimpinan Audy Joinaldy kedepannya. Ia mengharapkan pasar tersebut diberikan bantuan pembangunan layaknya pasar ternak Payakumbuh.
“Lebih baik kedepannya untuk Pasar. Berikan perubahan dengan diberikan atap bangunan layaknya pasar ternak Payakumbuh. Bisa dilihat sekarang para sapi berlindung dengan menggunakan payung saja yang tidak bisa melindungi dari hujan dan panas. Itulah harapan kami seandainya Audy duduk,” tutur Irfan yang mengunakan kaos baju cokelat tersebut.
Sedangkan, Perwakilan Ketua Pengurus Pasar Ternak, Jhon Chandra mengharapkan pasangan Calon Gubernur (Cagub) dan Cawagub, Mahyeldi-Audy Joinaldy dapat memajukan Pasar Ternak Muaro Paneh apabila terpilih menjadi Gubernur Sumbar.
“Pasar ini dikelola ninik mamak tidak diurus Pemda (pemerintah daerah). Walau begitu kami harap Mahyeldi-Audy dapat memajukan pasar ini. Misalnya kalau ada kerusakan los pelakunya tolong diperhatikan. Selain itu, perhatian agar bisa membeli sapi di daerah lain. Lancarlah pemasarannya itulah intinya,” jelas Jhon.
Usai berkeliling pasar, Audy duduak di lapau sembari ngopi bareng dengan para pedagang.
Sebagai informasi, Pasar Ternak ini sangat terkenal dengan warisan budayanya yaitu ‘Marosok’. Tradisi marosok dilakukan dengan menggunakan isyarat jari tangan.
Pedagang dan pembeli seperti orang bersalaman dan ditutupi dengan kain sarung atau handuk, bahkan terkadang hanya dibalik baju. Tawar menawar dilakukan secara tersembunyi.
Nyaris selama transaksi tidak ada kata-kata menyebut soal harga ternak yang ditawar. Hanya anggukan dan gelengan kepala sebagai tambahan isyarat. Semuanya dilakukan dengan isyarat jari tangan.
