Inisiasi Kejuaraan Paralympic Sumut, dr Tuahman Purba: Semoga Muncul Bibit-Bibit Baru

MEDAN – BRRITATERKINI.CO.ID – dr Tuahman Purba bersama Pengurus National Paralympic Committe (NPC) Sumatera Utara berkunjung ke Kantor Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Kunjungan tersebut langsung disambut hangat oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Prof. Drs. Syaifuddin, M.A, Ph.D di ruangan kerjanya.

Kunjungan tersebut dalam rangka agenda Kejuaraan Paralympic Tingkat Sumatera Utara untuk SLB-C yang akan digelar pada bulan Maret 2022.

Ajang perlombaan ini di inisiasi langsung oleh dr. Tuahman Purba yang juga selaku Pembina NPC Sumatera Utara.

dr. Tuahman Purba mengatakan bahwa siswa SLB-C Sumatera Utara sudah memiliki banyak prestasi baik di ajang Nasional maupun Internasional. Termasuk pada ajang Peparnas XVI di Papua pada tahun 2021 silam, siswa SLB-C menyumbang medali untuk Provinsi Sumatera.

Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan dalam rangka melihat dan mencari bibit-bibit baru. Terhadap Pemprovsu, dr. Tuahman Purba mengharapkan agar serius memberikan perhatian dan bantuan kepada siswa-siswa SLB untuk menunjang prestasi mereka. Dan kepada seluruh rakyat Sumatera Utara, mari bersama-sama kita memberikan dukungan penuh kepada anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus dalam mengembangkan potensi dirinya. Karena sejatinya dibalik kekurangan pasti ada kelebihan.

Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Kadisdik Provsu mengatakan siap untuk melakukan pembenahan fasilitas di seluruh SLB Provinsi Sumatera Utara demi menunjang kebutuhan siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi dirinya agar dapat berprestasi dan mengharumkan nama Provinsi Sumatera Utara.
