WAY KANAN-LAMPUNG, WWW.BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Dalam Rangka memperingati Hari Bakti Pemasyarakatan Ke-56. Lapas Kelas IIB Way Kanan melaksanakan Bakti Sosial Narapidana (Napi), peyerahan bantuan hasil karya Napi kepada Masyarakat berupa alat pelindung diri (APD) berupa masker non medis dan hasil pertanian (labu kuning).

Demikian disampaikan oleh Kepala Lapas Kelas II B Way Kanan, Syarpani di Posko Satgas Covid-19 Simpang Empat Way Kanan, Kamis (23/4/2020)

“Alhamdulillah, hari ini kita bisa menggelar baksos pembagian masker dan labu kuning di dua tempat yakni kepada warga Simpang Empat dan Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda. Sumbangan APD berupa Masker sebanyak 500 buah dan Produk ketahanan p hasil perkebunan lapas sebanyak 200 buah Labu Kuning”, ujar Syarpani.

Kepala lapas menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini dilakukan serentak di seluruh lapas dan rutan seluruh Indonesia.

“Kegiatan Bakti Sosial Narapidana dalam rangka HUT pemasyarakatan ke 56 ini dilakukan di seluruh Lapas Rutan dan tentunya sudah mengikuti protokol kesehatan yang dikeluarkan Kementerian Kesehatan dalam pencegahan penyebaran Virus Corona Disease (COVID-19) walaupun dengan keterbatasan gerak dan waktu akan tetapi tidak menyurutkan langkah petugas pemasyarakatan dan Narapidana untuk memberikan pelayanan dan pengabdian yang terbaik untuk masyarakat, ke depan semoga bencana non alam yang ditetapkan negara sebagai bencana nasional yang terjadi di Indonesia dapat segera berlalu dan ini menjadi harapan dan doa kita semua” Tutup Syarpani.

Sementara itu Ketua Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda, KH Eful Saefulloh mengucapkan terimakasih atas kepedulian pihak lapas.

“Terimakasih pak kalapas, masker sangat bermanfaat bagi santri dan buah labu kuning hasil pertanian pasti sangat nikmat untuk dijadikan menu buka puasa di pondok pesantren kami, semoga menjadi amal ibadah pihak lapas atas semua kepedulian ini”, ujar Pak Haji Eful.

Senada, CHR (35 th), pengendara motor di depan Posko Satgas Covid-19 daerah Simpang Empat, Negeri Baru mengucapkan terimakasih atas pemberian masker dan hasil pertanian.

Sehingga peringatan Hari Bakti Pemasyarakatan ke-56 Tahun 2020 dilaksanakan serentak secara virtual dengan memperhatikan protokol kesehatan penyebaran Covid-19.
