Refleksi 25 Tahun Reformasi, Diskusi Publik Kampus Sudirman, Universitas Udayana Hadirkan Aktivis PENA 98 Bali
DENPASAR, beritaterkini.co.id | Diskusi publik bertajuk “Refleksi 25 tahun Reformasi: Bebas eh Bablas” diselenggarakan BEM PM Universitas Udayana dan BEM FH Universitas Udayana, dalam rangka memperingati Hari Reformasi sebagai tonggak sejarah penting dalam sejarah bangsa.
Diskusi dengan format talk show ini, menghadirkan narasumber, diantaranya Jatmiko Wiwoho (simpul PENA 98, eksponen gerakan mahasiswa Bali 1990-an), Efatha Filemeno Booromeo, S,IP., M.Sos. (dosen FISIP Unud) dan Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H.,M.H. (dosen Fakultas Hukum Unud) di Ruang Terbuka Hijau Universitas Udayana, Minggu, 21 Mei 2023.
Acara ini dihadiri oleh berbagai kalangan antara lain mahasiswa, organisasi masyarakat sipil, aktivis dan masyarakat umum. Talk show kemudian dilanjutkan dengan stand up comedy “Tema: Kritik Pemerintah”, dan sesi interaktif untuk mendorong percakapan bermakna tentang berbagai topik terkait reformasi.
Diskusi berformat Talk Show dilaksanakan, mengingatkan atas 25 tahun pasca tumbangnya rezim otoriter Orde Baru, namun, proses demokratisasi masih terus mengalami ujian dan hambatan. Demokrasi Indonesia bahkan semakin dipukul mundur dengan berkuasanya kekuatan-kekuatan neoliberal, kasus-kasus mega korupsi dan tentu saja fundamentalisme agama.
“Kami menolak lupa dan kami tahu siapa pelakunya, bila kita menilik serta mengingat kembali pada agenda-agenda reformasi yang digaungkan pada tahun 1998, maka harus jujur diakui bahwa tidak satu pun agenda itu dapat dilaksanakan secara konsisten oleh rezim-rezim orde reformasi,” sebut mahasiswa.
Agenda reformasi seperti adili Soeharto dan kroni-kroninya, semakin jauh dari harapan. Bahkan, suara-suara desakan untuk menjadikan Soeharto sebagai pahlawan nasional, masih acapkali terdengar. Demikian pula kroni-kroninya. Sementara kasus-kasus korupsi keluarga Cendana dan kroninya serta kasus-kasus pelanggaran HAM masa lalu masih banyak yang tak kunjung mendapat penyelesaian yang berkeadilan.
Pemberantasan Korupsi, Kolusi dan Nepotisme (KKN) sebagai salah satu agenda reformasi pun juga mengalami stagnasi. Khususnya, dalam pemberantasan korupsi, ada kecenderungan perlawanan yang semakin massif. Perilaku korupsi juga semakin beregenerasi. Hal ini tampak dari banyaknya kepala daerah yang berusia muda yang juga ikut terlibat dalam proses reformasi, justru kini terjerat kasus korupsi.
Refleksi 25 tahun Reformasi ini, bertujuan untuk mengenang kembali perjuangan reformasi 1998, mengenang gugurnya para pejuang reformasi, mengambil pelajaran dari peristiwa tumbangnya Orde Baru dan menemukan konteks kekinian dari tuntutan-tuntutan Gerakan Reformasi 1998 yang belum terpenuhi.
Disebutkan, reformasi menandai peristiwa bersejarah untuk menghasilkan transformasi politik dan sosial yang signifikan di negara kita. Acara ini merupakan pengingat akan kekuatan aksi kolektif dan pentingnya kemajuan yang berkelanjutan.
Dalam diskusi ini, muncul beberapa gagasan kunci terutama berkaitan dengan konteks keadaan saat ini, antara lain: bagaimana Orde Baru bisa sedemikian lama berkuasa, pelanggaran HAM selama rezim Orde Baru dan paska Reformasi 1998, supremasi hukum, monopoli kekerasan oleh negara, diskriminasi sosial, dan bahaya penggunaan politik identitas dalam meraih dan melanggengkan kekuasaan.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Jatmiko Wiwoho menceritakan, bahwa pada masa Orde Baru berkumpul dan berpendapat secara kritis sangat tidak diperbolehkan. Walaupun demikian, gerakan mahasiswa bersama kekuatan prodemokrasi lainnya terus melawan rezim Orde baru yang terbukti menindas rakyatnya. Dulu ketika ingin aksi pasti direncanakan dan dipersiapkan secara matang. Beliau pun menambahkan bahwa setiap masa itu punya tantangannya masing-masing. Pada masa mereka itu, waktu NKK/BKK yakni semua yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa harus disetujui oleh kampus, tantangannya yaitu represi.
“Saat ini, salah satu agenda terpenting adalah menjaga, mencegah, dan mengawal agar politik identitas tidak digunakan sebagai alat pemenangan dalam kontestasi politik 2024. Jika itu dilakukan, sesungguhnya itu bentuk pengkhianatan semangat Reformasi 1998 yang menghendaki kesetaraan dan akan melahirkan diskriminasi dan perpecahan di antara anak bangsa. Kalangan intelektual dan insan akademis kampus harus segera mendorong kriteria yang tegas terbebas dari penggunaan politik identitas bagi pemimpin nasional menjelang suksesi politik 2024,” paparnya.
Sementara itu, Efatha Filemeno Booromeo, S,IP., M.Sos., menyampaikan terkait perbedaan politik identitas pada masa Orde Baru berbeda dengan saat ini. Waktu Orba itu politik identitas dilakukan untuk membendung suara kritis rakyat terhadap negara. Sedangkan, era sekarang itu lebih dijadikan alat politik kampanye. Mahasiswa saat ini dituntut untuk mengenali lebih jauh pengaruh dan kecenderungan dunia internasional kepada Indonesia.
“Semua yang terjadi di Indonesia tidak lepas dari situasi geopolitik dunia, termasuk Reformasi 1998 dan peristiwa-peristiwa sosial politik ke depan,” ungkapnya.
Pada kesempatan yang sama, Bima Kumara Dwi Atmaja, S.H.,M.H., mengingatkan kembali pentingnya supremasi hukum dan penghormatan pada HAM. Bahkan, Bima juga mengajak peserta, khususnya para mahasiswa untuk terus berpikir dan bertindak kritis dalam mengawal semangat reformasi 1998.
Selain itu, salah seorang Panitia Penyelenggara Ananta menyampaikan, bahwa forum diskusi ini pada akhirnya menyediakan platform bagi peserta untuk bertukar ide, mengusulkan solusi dan terlibat dalam dialog yang konstruktif.
“Semoga acara ini menjadi pendorong aksi kolektif dan menginspirasi masyarakat, khususnya mahasiswa, untuk berkontribusi pada upaya mewujudkan cita-cita reformasi yang terus diperjuangkan dalam masyarakat kita,” harapnya.
Oleh karena itu, Penyelenggara berharap, diskusi hari ini bukan sekedar kegiatan seremonial belaka tetapi sebagai bentuk refleksi guna merawat ingatan untuk tetap membawa semangat reformasi seutuhnya.
“Dalam peringatan 25 tahun reformasi ini, kami BEM PM Universitas Udayana dan BEM FH Universitas Udayana juga seluruh mahasiswa berharap besar kepada pemerintah untuk segera menyelamatkan demokrasi dari ancaman militerisme dan neoliberalisme, tuntaskan kasus-kasus pelanggaran HAM masa lalu, tolak keterlibatan TNI dalam kegiatan sosial politik. Kami menyerukan pula agar rakyat terus membangun kekuatan politik alternatif demi Indonesia berkeadilan,” pungkasnya. (ace/sdp).
