Beritaterkini.com – Kementerian Sosial RI memberikan dan mempercayakan sejumlah paket sembako kepada Yayasan Peduli Jurnalis Indonesia (YPJI). Untuk saat ini, bantuan sembako dari pemerintah diberikan kepada Jurnalis atau wartawan yang terdampak Corona Covid-19.
Sekitar 5300 paket sembako diberikan Kementerian Sosial RI kepada YPJI. Pihak Kementerian Sosial menyebut nilai paket sembako yang diberikan tersebut sekitar Rp 1,59 Miliar.
“Pengajuan untuk Komunitas Jurnalis memang kita terima. Jumlahnya sekitar 5300 paket,” ujar Pejabat Pembuat Komitmen DPSKBS, Kementrian Sosial, Adi Wahyono saat jumpa pers di sekretariat YPJI, kawasan Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta Selatan, pada Kamis (12/11/2020).
“Semua komunitas kita perhatikan. Saya pikir Jurnalis kan yang membantu kita semua, yang memberikan informasi edukatif. Saya pikir layak juga menerima bantuan. Nggak ada masalah,”tambahnya.
Nantinya, pemberian bantuan sosial kepada Jurnalis masih akan terus berlangsung. Apalagi, pemerintah memang terus melakukan pendataan dan menganggarkan dana bantuan sosial ke setiap lapisan masyarakat.
“Kalau soal pemberitaan adanya penggantian bansos dengan vaksin, kita masih menunggu kebijakan pemerintah. Tapi yang jelas bantuan reguler seperti ini masih tetap dilakukan,”ujarnya.
Pihak Kemensos RI juga didampingi oleh Ketua Pembina Yayasan Peduli Jurnalis Indonesia (YPJI) yang juga Direktur Utama PT CMA, Agus A Mile. Dalam kesempatan itu, YPJI mengucapkan terima kasih atas bantuan pemerintah.
“Bahwa kegiatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari kepedulian Jurnalis kepada Jurnalis lainnya. Selain karena banyak Jurnalis yang terkena efek Pandemi Covid-19,”ujar Agus A Mile.
YPJI pun berharap nantinya akan ada kerjasama lanjutan di kemudian hari. “Harapannya kerjasama seperti ini akan berlanjut kembali dengan Kemensos,”ujar Agus A Mile.
