JAKARTA – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Presiden Joko Widodo menyambut positif keputusan Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), Erick Thohir yang mencopot Direktur Utama PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) tbk, I Gusti Ngurah Askhara Danadiputra atau Ari Askhara menyusul skandal penyulundupan Harley Davidson dan sepeda Brompton melalui pesawat Garuda yang terbang dari Perancis ke Indonesia.
“Sudah diputuskan oleh menteri BUMN. Dan itu tegas sekali. Saya kira pesannya tegas sekali, saya nggak akan mengulang (peringatan),” kata Jokowi seusai meresmikan Tol JORR II Kunciran- Serpong, Jumat (06/12/2019).
Ia meminta agar pejabat BUMN lainnya tidak melakukan kesalahan seperti yang dilakukan Ari Askhara.
“Jangan ada yang mengulang-ulang seperti itu lagi. Untuk pesan semuanya, jangan main-main!” ujar Presiden.
Selain itu, Kementerian BUMN juga tengah mempertimbangkan pemberian sanksi terhadap tiga direktur Garuda Indonesia lainnya. Mereka diketahui bepergian bersama Ari Askhara tanpa mengantongi surat izin dari menteri BUMN untuk keluar negeri menjemput pesawat baru Garuda di Prancis.
