Ketua KMI Harap Kapolri Bijak Menyikapi Desakan Pencopotan Kapolda Sultra

Jakarta, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Usai digegerkannya video berdurasi 58 detik yang menunjukan puluhan tenaga kerja asing (TKA) asal Cina tiba di Bandara Haluoleo Kendari, Minggu (15/3/2020) malam. Dalam video tersebut, puluhan TKA asal Cina mengenakan masker, seorang yang diduga mengambil video tersebut juga menyebutkan bahwa puluhan TKA itu adalah pembawa virus Corona yang baru datang dari Cina. Kemudian video tersebut menjadi viral di media sosial WhatsApp dan Facebook.

Menanggapi video viral tersebut, Kapolda Sultra Merdisyam menjelaskan video tersebut benar, TKA asal Cina yang ada dalam video tersebut bekerja disalah satu perusahaan pemurnian nikelbl di Kecamatan Morosi, Kabupaten Konawe Sulta, terang Merdisyam, jumlah tenaga TKA yang datang di dalam video adalah 40 orang. Puluhan KTA itu, kata dia bukan dari Cina tetapi dari Jakarta.

Terpisah usai viralnya video tersebut banyak dorongan dari warga net (Media sosial) melalui hastag “CopotKapoldaSultra”, Kapolda dinilai lalai membiarkan para TKI asal China datang, padahal Negara asal sedang mewabah Corona Virus Disiase (Covid-19).

Menyikapi desakan pencopotan terhadap Kapolda Sultra, Brigjen Polisi Merdisyam tersebut Ketua Kaukus Muda Indonesia (KMI) Edi Homaidi melalui pesan tertulisnya yang diterima kantor berita Jarrakpos, menyayangkan adanya desakan pencopotan tersebut, Rabu (18/3/2020).

Menurut Edi, apa yang dilakukan Kapolda Sultra Brigjen Merdisyam sudah menjadi protap di kepolisian, apalagi pihak Polda Sultra hanya menerima penyerahan pelaku perekam video tersebut dari Lanud karena pada saat itu diamankan oleh Lanud.

“Lagi pula, pelaku yang diketahui bernama Hardiono (39), seorang warga Desa Onewila, Kecamatan Ranomeeto, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan (Konsel), sudah menyatakan permohonan maaf atas video viral dengan durasi 58 detik itu,” ujarnya.

Untuk itu, Edi Homaidi meminta kepada Kapolri Jenderal Pol Idham Azis agar bersikap bijak dalam mengambil keputusan, terkait bawshannya tersebut. Kapolri perlu mendengarkan masukan dari kedua belah pihak, baik bawahannya sendiri, juga dari pihak luar yang menginginkan pencopotan Merdisyam dari jabatan Kapolda Sultra itu.

“Saya yakin, Pak Kapolri Idham Azis akan bijak dalam mengambil keputusan terhadap anak buahnya itu. Apalagi berdasarkan apa yang saya ketahui, sosok Kapolda Sultra Brigjend Pol Merdisyam orang yang memiliki track record bagus,” ujarnya.

Selain itu, Merdisyam merupakan pejabat Polri yang menduduki jabatan strategis sejak 5 Januari 2018, juga peraih penghargaan Satyalencana Dwija Sistha dan Satyalencana Kesetiaan 16 tahun.

“Banyak pula riwayat jabatan yang telah ia lakoni sejak mengabdi ke institusi Polri. Seperti tahun 2006, dia memperoleh jabatan sebagai Wakil Kepala(Waka) Polres Bekasi Polda Metro Jaya, tahun 2010 menjabat sebagai Kepala Polres Karawang Polda Jabar, tahun 2013 sebagai Dirintelkam Polda Gorontalo dan jabatan terakhir sebagai Dirsosbud Baintelkam Polri,” terangnya. /BRT
