Ketua Umum DPP PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri menanggapi secara santai pro kontra yang dibangun sejumlah media massa pasca pernyataannya meminta Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) tidak terlalu memanjakan kalangan milenial.
Saat memberikan arahan dalam Rapat Koordinasi Bidang DPP PDIP dengan tema Gerakan Menanam dan Politik Anggaran: Kebijakan Terobosan Investasi, Sabtu (31/10/2020) bulan kemaren,
Megawati mengatakan dirinya memantau banyak yang memviralkan pertanyaannya dalam acara partainya 28 Oktober lalu.
Pemicunya adalah karena ada perkataan Megawati kepada Presiden Jokowi agar jangan memanjakan generasi milenial.
“Karena apa?
Terus kalau sudah disebut generasi milenial, saya nanya, apa baktinya bagi negeri ini?
Lalu jadi malah ada talk show dan sebagainya.
Saya senang saja.
Tentu sifatnya pro dan kontra,” kata Megawati.
Lalu Megawati menjelaskan maksud pernyataannya itu.
Kepada para peserta rakor PDIP itu, Megawati mempertanyakan alasan mereka terus mengangkat dirinya sebagai ketua umum partai sejak pertama berdiri hingga saat ini.
Menurut Megawati, pilihan kepada dirinya untuk memimpin partai adalah karena disadari sepenuhnya partai butuh pemimpin yang mengarahkan ke arah kebaikan ke depan, bukan mundur ke belakang.
Namun, sebagai pemimpin tertinggi partai, Megawati mengaku bahwa dirinya kerap masih belum merasa puas sepenuhnya dengan para kader partai yang mayoritas adalah kalangan milenial.
Bagi Megawati, kalangan milenial adalah yang lahir mulai tahun 1980-an.
Misalnya, kerap Megawati melihat bahwa masih ada kader yang tak serius saat lagu Indonesia Raya, mengheningkan cipta, dan menaikkan bendera merah putih. Padahal itu adalah protokol kenegaraan.
“Karena apa?
Siapa yang akan membela dan menghormati negara kita kalau bukan kita sendiri?” imbuh Megawati.
“Kalau di Amerika. Saya tak mau bilang di RRC, nanti saya dibilang komunis pula.
Di Amerika itu, rakyatnya itu kalau dengar lagu kebangsaannya, itu langsung berdiri,” tambah Megawati.
“Saya butuh kader yang punya jiwa raga, fighting spirit. Makanya saya bilang jangan manjakan milenial.
Apa baktinya bagi negeri ini. Bagi saya milenial ini kan itu lahir sekitar tahun 1980-an.
Ya kalian ini banyak juga. Jangan mejeng saja.
Harus berbuat.
Jangan ada di partai ini kalau tidak (berbuat,red),” beber Megawati.
Megawati memberi contoh lain kasus likuifaksi di Sulawesi Tengah beberapa waktu lalu.
Para pemimpin daerah maupun kalangan milenial seharusnya mempelajari fenomena itu untuk mencari jalan keluarnya.
Megawati mengaku sudah belajar praktik di China dan di Jepang soal metode menghadapi bencana alam.
Dan Indonesia memang jauh tertinggal.
“Kalian mungkin heran kenapa ketua umum bisa tahu?
Karena saya belajar.
Saya juga pengen kalian itu belajar, jangan mejeng doang,” imbuhnya.
Pada arahannya itu, Megawati juga menyinggung bahwa banyak kalangan milenial yang sukses.
Namun khususnya mereka yang sukses adalah yang berprofesi sebagai pengusaha.
“Tapi yang lain? Yang saya maksud, berapa banyak rakyat yang sudah kamu tolong? Saya ingin rakyat punya harapan.
Partai ini, membawa kemajuan dan kesejahteraan ke depan. Tapi bagaimana (bisa, red) kalau manja?
Ya ngamuk lah saya.
Bilang milenial tak boleh dimanja,” kata Megawati.
“Gara-gara omongan saya, sampai banyak talk show. Wah keren saya.
(Pernyataan saya, red) Sampai dibawa talk show.
Padahal ya rakyat Indonesia memang harus digembleng untuk punya fighting spirit, tahu membawa Indonesia maju ke depan, membawa rakyat sejahtera,” tukasnya. (Red/AJ)
