Purwakarta, Beritaterkini.co.id- Dalam rangka deteksi dini gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban, petugas Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kelas IIB Purwakarta melakukan penggeledahan insidentil pada blok/kamar hunian Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP), pada Sabtu, 17 Juli 2021.
Kamar A03 dan A04, blok hunian di Lapas Kelas IIB Purwakarta menjadi sasaran penggeledahan yang dipimpin langsung Pelaksana Hariaan (Plh) Kalapas Purwakarta, Asep Saripudin.
“Penggeledahan rutin maupun insidentil dilakukan guna mencegah potensi terjadinya gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban di Lapas Kelas IIB Purwakarta,” ucap Plh Kalapas Purwakarta, Asep Saripudin, dalam keterangan tertulisnya, pada Sabtu, 17 Juli 2021.
Selain itu, sambung dia, penggeledahan ini juga bertujuan untuk deteksi dini terhadap tindakan WBP yang dapat mengganggu ketertiban dan keamanan.
“Penggeledahan ini juga dilakukan agar Lapas Kelas IIB Purwakarta bebas dari peredaran barang terlarang utamanya narkoba dan handphone,” ucap Asep.
Diketahui, dalam razia dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan pencegahan Covid-19 itu petugas menemukan berbagai jenis barang dalam kamar warga binaan.
Barang terlarang yang ditemukan yakni, sebuah korek gas, pisau cutter, sebuah terminal listrik rakitan, 2 buah Charger handphone, 5 buah Kabel, satu sendok besi, kartu ATM, rokok elektrik, gelas kaca dan sebuah alat cukur.
“Dalam penggeledahan kali ini petugas tidak menemukan narkoba. Ini adalah bentuk keseriusan kami dalam memerangi narkoba. Adapun jika ditemukan WBP maupun petugas yang terlibat, tentu akan kami berikan sanksi tegas,” tutur Asep.
Selanjutnya, kata Asep, barang-barang terlarang tersebut akan diinventarisir lalu akan segera dimusnahkan.
“Dalam pelaksanaan razia tersebut kami tetap mengedepankan aspek humanis kepada setiap warga binaan,” pungkasnya. (Alf/rzl)
