Sosok Ketua Percasi Kota Palembang yang berlatarbelakang seorang pengusaha ini juga hobi bermain music, dia mengatakan, saat ini kita sedang menyusun program kerja jangka pendek, jangka menengah, dan jangka panjang, untuk jangka panjang Percasi Palembang juga akan menjaring bibit-bibit atlet catur muda berbakat dari sekolah-sekolah yang ada di kota Palembang. Selain ketua catur kota beliau adalah pemilik rekaman GS Records, kita Percasi kota akan bersinergi dengan Club-club Catur yang ada di Kota Palembang. “Nantinya mereka akan kita bina dengan target menjadikannya seorang Master Catur demi kemajuan Catur Kota Palembang.
Saat ini Percasi Kota Palembang membuka pendaftaran untuk Club-club Catur yang ada di Kota Palembang agar dapat bergabung di Percasi Kota Palembang. Kita akan membina mereka agar lebih terarah, kita juga akan mengadakan event-event untuk pertandingan antar Club yang ada di Kota Palembang, jadi secara tidak langsung Percasi Kota Palembang diharapkan dapat mensupport Club-club Catur yang ada di Palembang.
