Karena itu, Kementerian PUPR saat ini sedang gencar-gencarnya melakukan penataan di kawasan tersebut. Penataan tersebut ditinjau oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, Jumat (25/3/2022)
Saat Presiden Joko Widodo meninjau GWK, sejumlah Arahan dan petunjuk yang diberikan kepada Kementerian PUPR. Petunjuk tersebut agar dilaksanakan dengan baik.
“Presiden Jokowi memberikan nomor Arah terkait rencana menjadikan GWK Cultural Park sebagai lokasi jamuan makan malam KTT G20,” terang Direktur Jenderal Cipta Karya Kementerian PUPR Diana Kusumastuti, kemarin.
Luaskan area tertentu untuk memperluas area pintu masuk dan tempat parkir agar nantinya memudahkan para delegasi.
Kementerian PUPR ditugaskan untuk menyiapkan arena untuk membangunnya, kemudian nanti di tempat masuk harus dibuat agak lebih panjang, lebih lebar.
“Panataan itu dilakukan agar nanti lebih memudahkan kepala negara untuk turun dari lokasi drop off menuju ke tempat makan malam,” ujar Diana, dikutip dari laman resmi Sekretariat Kabinet RI.
Selain GWK Cultural Park, Jokowi juga memberikan arahan kepada Kementerian PUPR untuk melakukan penghijauan di sekitar jalan tol yang akan dilintasi para delegasi KTT G20.
Arahan tersebut, Diana menyebut bahwa Kementerian PUPR akan melakukan penanaman pohon bugenvil di sekitar median jalan tol.
“Di kanan-kirinya itu kita lakukan penanaman-penanaman pohon dan yang lebih pas mungkin itu pohonnya adalah kamboja, ciri khasnya di Bali, dan juga pohon pandan laut, dan beberapa tanaman perdu agar itu bisa keindahan juga dari jalanl tersebut,” tuturnya .
Diana pun berharap kegiatan penghijauan di sekitar jalan tol tidak hanya dilakukan di Bali, namun juga dilakukan di seluruh jalan tol yang ada di Indonesia.(ded)
