Pada Kuliah umum turut hadir Pelaksana Tugas (PLT) Direktur POLTEKPAR Palembang Dilla Pratiyudha S, Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata (Kadisbudpar) Provinsi Sumsel Dr H. Aufa Syahrizal, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Sumsel Dr.H.Riza Fahlevi, Kepala Dinas Kominfo Sumsel , H. ACHMAD RIZWAN,SSTP., M.M.
Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru mengucapkan terima kasih telah diundang menjadi narasumber pada kuliah umum pada lintas semester dari junior sampai senior mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Poltekpar Palembang, di mana saya mengajak mereka memahami tentang karakter Sumsel. Saya juga memotivasi agar menjadi pelaku usaha yang bisa menciptakan usaha sendiri bukan sebagai pekerja.
Kita ketahui sektor pariwisata di Sumsel butuh inovasi dan sentuhan antara alam dan kratifitas SDM yang ada seperti adek mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Poltekpar sekarang, guna memajukan sektor usaha di Sumsel terutama bidang Pariwisata.
Kalau bicara tentang wisata Sumsel ada banyak tempat wisata kaitanya dengan alam seperti Danau Danau, Pagaralam artinya kita butuh SDM yang handal.
Ditambahkan PLT POLTEKPAR Palembang Dilla Pratiyudha terima kasih kepada Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru berkenan hadir dan menjadi narasumber pada kuliah umum dan memberikan motivasi untuk mahasiswa dan mahasiswi lintas semester .
Pada kuliah umum ini kita ambil tema agara mahasiswa jangan sampai habis kuliah untuk bekerja akan tetapi kami inginkan mereka menciptakan lapangan kerja sendiri.
Tujuan dari kuliah umum ini adalah untuk menjalin silaturahmi serta menambah ilmu serta mendapatkan motivasi dari narasumber, mereka harus menjadi General Of Change menjadi room model bagi SDM Pariwisata yang ada di Provinsi Sumsel,”ujaranya.
Sekarang Poltekpar memiliki mahasiswa in board berada di Kampus sebanyak 987 mahasiswa, terdiri dari empat program study yaitu diploma empat (D4) acara,ada 3 diploma tiga (D3) divisi utama, tata hitam, dan seni kiliner, Imtech kita setiap tahun ada 354 mahasiswa, “bebernya.
