Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani mengingatkan pemerintah untuk lebih cermat dalam menyusun perencanaan dan pendataan terkait bantuan langsung tunai dalam bentuk subsidi gaji untuk pekerja anggota BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dengan gaji di bawah Rp5 juta.
Puan meminta kebijakan pemulihan ekonomi nasional di masa pandemi Covid-19 dilakukan bukan hanya cepat, tapi juga harus tepat.
“Kebijakan-kebijakan yang dapat memulihkan perekonomian nasional, juga menyangkut tenaga kerja yang mengalami PHK maupun tidak, dapat dilakukan secara cepat dan tepat,” kata Puan, Rabu (26/8/2020).
Wakil rakyat dari daerah pemilihan Jawa Tengah V itu menegaskan, pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar rakyat tidak bisa ditunda, khususnya pada masa pandemi Covid-19 yang membawa dampak luas.
Pemerintah, kata Puan, harus mampu menyusun dan melaksanakan kebijakan yang adil dan berkeperimanusiaan untuk seluruh rakyat. Bantuan untuk pemulihan ekonomi harus benar-benar nyata membangkitkan perekonomian nasional.
“Pelaksanaan transfer subsidi gaji ke rekening pekerja diharapkan dapat dilakukan cepat dan tepat agar dampak pemulihan ekonomi juga bisa dirasakan para pekerja mandiri bergaji di bawah Rp5 juta,” ujar Puan.
“Pemerintah juga mesti memperhatikan dan mencari solusi yang berperikemanusiaan bagi para pekerja yang tidak memiliki keanggotaan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan,” sambungnya.
Seperti diketahui, pemerintah akan menyalurkan bantuan langsung tunai (BLT) berupa subsidi gaji kepada pekerja.
BLT tersebut akan diberikan kepada pekerja swasta dan pegawai pemerintah non Pegawai Negeri Sipil dengan pendapatan di bawah Rp5 juta.
Selain syarat gaji di bawah Rp 5 juta, pekerja calon penerima juga harus tercatat sebagai peserta aktif BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.
Subsidi upah yang diberikan tersebut sebesar Rp600 ribu selama 4 bulan atau total senilai Rp2,4 juta. Subsidi ini akan diberikan setiap 2 bulan atau setiap pembayaran sebesar Rp1,2 juta.
Semula direncanakan BLT mulai disalurkan pada 25 Agustus 2020, tapi Menteri Ketenagakerjaan Ida Fauziyah menyatakan pencairan ditunda karena masih perlu finalisasi data calon penerima.
