Pimpinan Prof. Dr. Otto Hasibuan, S.H., M.C.L., M.M. menggelar Ujian Profesi Advokat (UPA) Tahun 2023 secara serentak di seluruh Indonesia,
Peserta ujian ini sebanyak 3.854 calon advokat yang digelar di 43 Kota di Indonesia. Jumlah tersebut, termasuk di Kota Palembang terhitung ada 114 orang calon advokat yang mengikuti ujian tersebut,ungkap Wakil Ketua Umum DPN PERADI, Happy SP Sihombing SH MH,Kami hadir pada ujian ini sebagai pengamat dalam ujian profesi advokat yang digelar di Aula Serbaguna STIHPADA Palembang. Sabtu (17/06/23).
“Alhamdulilah, pelaksana ujian profesi ini di Kota Palembang diikuti 114 peserta dan semuanya hadir ,” kata Happy SP Sihombing.
Dilanjutkannya, untuk materi yang diujikan telah diseleksi dan sering digunakan setiap ujian, seperti hukum acara pidana, perdata, hukum tata negara, serta esai berupa membuat surat kuasa dan surat gugatan.
“Terlihat tadi, para peserta sangat antusias dan serius mengerjakan tiap materi yang diujikan. Bahkan tampak memahami terutama mengerjakan esai,” ujarnya.
Dirinya juga menyebutkan, untuk hari ini, PERADI di bawah Ketua Umum (Ketum) Prof. Otto Hasibuan secara serentak menggelar ujian profesi advokat di 43 Kota di Indonesia dengan total peserta sebanyak 3.854 calon advokat.
“Penentuan kelusuan ujian profesi advokat ini sangat objektif dan independen. Karena PERADI menggunakan pihak ketiga dan menerapkan zero KKN. Meski demikian, animo untuk menjadi advokat anggota Peradi ini sangat tinggi,” tegas Heppy.
Disampaikan Heppy, bahwa PERADI berusaha untuk menciptakan para advokat handal, berkualitas serta berintegritas tinggi sesuai amanat perundang-undangan.
“Saya berharap para calon advokat ini dapat lulus semuanya dan akan menjadi advokat yang profesional dalam memberikan pelayanan bagi masyarakat pencari keadilan,”pungkasnya.
Koordinator Wilayah (Korwil) PERADI Sumsel, Dr.(c) H.Antoni Toha, SH MH menambahkan para calon advokat ini bukan hanya berasal dari Kota Palembang saja namun ada juga dari Kabupaten/Kota di Sumsel.
“Kalau namanya ujian artinya masih calon advokat setelah dinyatakan lulus. Para calon bisa saja nanti mereka mengikuti pelantikan di DPC – DPC PERADI yang ada di Sumsel,”tandasnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua DPC PERADI kota Palembang, Dr Azwar Agus SH MHum menyampaikan bahwa pihaknya sangat bersyukur atas kepercayaan yang diberikan oleh DPN PERADI untuk menjadi salah satu pelaksana ujian profesi advokat ini.
“Dalam pelaksanaannya dengan sistem seleksi Zero KKN. Artinya, para peserta yang ikut ujian ini telah mengikuti beberapa tahapan seleksi yang ketat dan bersih dari indikasi suap dan titipan,”ungkapnya.
Disampaikannya pula, penyelenggaraan ujian profesi advokat ini merupakan wujud nyata PERADI dalam melaksanakan tanggungjawabnya sesuai mandat Undang-Undang Advokat Nomor 18 Tahun 2003.
“PERADI menerapkan standar kelulusan yang tinggi dalam setiap UPA, begitu juga untuk Pendidikan Khusus Profesi Advokat (PKPA),” ujarnya.
Azwar menyampaikan, itu karena Peradi mengedepankan kualitas dari peserta yang lulus UPA Peradi demi kepentingan masyarakat agar ketika menggunakan jasa advokat Peradi, mendapat kepastian standar kompetensi dan integritasnya.
“Semoga para calon advokat yang dinyatakan lulus nantinya, akan menjadi advokat handal dan berintegritas tinggi sehingga dapat memberikan pelayanan maksimal bagi masyarakat pencari keadilan,”tandasnya.(RZP)
