MEDAN – BERITATERKINI.co.id – Menantu Presiden RI, Joko Widodo, Bobby Afif Nasution terus berupaya mencari dukungan partai politik hadapi pemilihan kepala daerah (Pilkada) serentak 2020 Kota Medan.
Terkini, Bobby mengembalikan formulir pendaftaran pencalonan sebagai Wali Kota Medan ke kantor DPD Golkar Medan di Jalan Jenderal Gatot Subroto, Medan, Jumat (13/12). Bagi Golkar, Bobby merupakan calon Walikota Medan ke-16 yang mengembalikan formulir pendaftaran partai berlambang pohon beringin itu.
Bobby mengakui jika dirinya terus menjalin komunikasi dengan partai politik dan para senior politikus. “Saya minta masukan dari teman-teman, dari senior-senior di partai. Bagaimana tahapan untuk mengikuti Pilkada ataupun, bagaimana solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di Kota Medan,” ujar Bobby.
Didampingi sang paman, Doli Siregar yang merupakan pengurus DPD Golkar Sumut, Bobby kerap berdiskusi tentang langkah-langkah politik apa yang harus dilakukan untuk membangun Kota Medan lebi baik lagi. “Makanya saya mengembalikan formulir, mengembalikan ke rumah keluarga. Karena ada keluarga saya disini dan tadi sudah disampaikan oleh kader Partai Golkar sendiri,” sebut suami Kahiyang Ayu itu.
Sementara itu Ketua DPD Golkar Medan Muhammad Syaf Lubis, mengatakan jika hingga saat ini sudah 16 bakal calon wali kota yang mengembalikan formulir. Ke-16 orang itu, yakni Kolonel Syaiful Azhar, Kombes (Purn) Maruli Siahaan, Plt Wali Kota Medan Akhyar Nasution, Anggota DPRD Medan Ihwan Ritonga dan O.K. Faisal. Kemudian Dirut PD Pasar Rusdi Sinuraya, Mantan Wakil Wali Kota Tanjung Balai Rolel Harahap, Anggota DPRD Sumut Nezar Djoeli, Akademisi Sakhyan Asmara.
Juga, Ketua DPC PKB Medan, Hamdan Simbolon, Dirut PD Pembangunan Kota Medan Putrama Alkhairi, Kolonel (Purn) Indra Junjungan, Pengusaha Abdul Manan Nasution, Anggota DPRD Sumut Muchrid Nasution dan Bobby Afif Nasution. “Bagi Partai Golkar siapapun yang dipercayakan yang diputuskan oleh DPP Partai Golkar pusat adalah calon yang mau membangun kota Medan, yang bisa merubah kota Medan, walaupun kota Medan sudah baik mudah-mudahan ke depan bisa lebih baik,” tandas Syaf.
