Id Memasuki bulan Suci Ramadhan untuk itu Forum Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Sumsel yang terdiri dari aktivis, LSM dan rekan-rekan media dengan tegas menolak segala sesuatu tindakan terkait isu SARA di Sumsel,memgajak untuk menjaga kondusifitas toleransi kerukunan antar umat beragama di Provinsi Sumsel, untuk itu Forum Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Sumsel yang terdiri dari aktivis, LSM dan rekan-rekan media dengan tegas menolak segala sesuatu tindakan terkait isu SARA di Sumsel.
Hal itu, terungkap pada saat Forum Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Sumsel menggelar konferensi pers di Kedai Kopi Dusun, pada Rabu (22/03/23).
Menurut Ki Edi Susilo bahwa pihaknya menghimbau kepada masyarakat Sumsel untuk tidak terpancing isu sara yang dapat memecah belah kerukunan antar umat beragama di Sumsel.
“Kami meminta kepada seluruh masyarakat untuk tidak terpancing dengan adanya isu yang berbau sara sehingga dapat memecah belah kerukunan antar umat beragama di Sumsel,”katanya
Dilanjutkannya, pihaknya juga meminta kepada seluruh masyarakat beragama di Sumsel untuk tetap khusuk dalam menjalankan ibadah sesuai dengan agama dan kepercayaannya masing masing.
“Kepada masyarakat Sumsel, kami menghimbau tetap menjunjung tinggi nilai nilai bertoleransi antar umat beragama. Karena di Sumsel dikenal dengan Zero Konflik,”ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Desmon Simanjuntak mengatakan kebebasan memeluk Agama sesuai dengan mandat konstitusi UUD 1945 Pasal 29 Ayat satu dan dua.
“Untuk itu, sudah sewajarnya kita harus saling hormat menghormati antar umat beragama untuk menjalankan ibadah sesuai Agama dan kepercayaannya masing-masing,”katanya.
Desmon menambahkan terkait kebebasan dalam memeluk Agama juga diatur dalam nilai-nilai Pancasila terutama Sila Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa.
“Jadi untuk itu, maka sudah sepantasnya kita saling hormat menghormati dan menjaga kerukunan antar umat beragama dalam menjalankan ibadah,”tegasnya.
Ditambahkan Bernadette Suzanna Langotukan mengatakan tidak ada
dalam sejarah di Sumsel terjadi pertentangan antar Agama.
“Jadi masyarakat Sumsel yang tahu bahwa ada yang berusaha memecah belah kerukunan umat beragama di Sumsel wajib di laporkan kepada pihak yang berwajib,” tegas Bernadette Suzanna Langotukan
Turut hadir dalam jumpa pers tersebut di antaranya Kerukunan Masyarakat Palembang, Horas Bangso Batak, Ikatan Advokat Batak Sumsel, Aliansi Untuk Keadilan, Forum Masyarakat Berdaya, Organisasi Rakyat Sipil Indonesia, Himpunan Keluarga Tamansiswa Sumsel, Perempuan Cinta Palembang, Foreder Sumsel, Barikade 98, Mahasiswa dan sejumlah awak media.(RZP)
