DENPASAR, beritaterkini.co.id | Harga ternak babi maupun sapi Bali di pasaran tidak menentu yang membuat kegalauan peternak Bali. Menyikapi kondisi tersebut, Dewan akan membentuk Pansus atau Panitia Khusus untuk menanggulangi permasalahan yang dialami oleh peternak Bali.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Ketua Komisi II DPRD Provinsi Bali, IGK. Kresna Budi, saat dikonfirmasi awak media di Denpasar, Selasa, 2 Mei 2023.
Menurutnya, sejak awal penyebab jatuhnya harga ternak babi maupun sapi Bali disebabkan adanya pengiriman ternak yang tidak teratur, sehingga banyak ternak masuk ke pasaran yang mengakibatkan harga ternak menurun drastis, yang pada akhirnya berdampak sangat signifikan bagi peternak Bali.
Oleh karena itu, Kresna Budi mendorong Asosiasi Pengusaha Daging dan Ternak (Aspednak) Bali dan Asosiasi Pengirim Sapi Bali (APSB) bertindak sebagai pengatur regulasi pengiriman ternak. Mengingat, semua negara di dunia, seperti Australia dan Selandia Baru masalah peternakan diatur oleh Asosiasi dan didukung penuh oleh Pemerintah.
Ditambahkan, dengan adanya Asosiasi yang mengatur harga dan pengiriman ternak akan menjadikan pengawasan ternak, baik babi dan sapi Bali menjadi lebih terarah dan tepat sasaran lantaran menyangkut populasi ternak yang ada di Bali
“Jangan sampai habis populasi ternak kita dan juga ada kestabilan harga ternak. Kita tidak ingin adanya inflasi dari harga-harga bahan pokok ternak ini. Jadi, ada kestabilan harga, karena hal itu mengacu pada luar negeri,” terangnya.
Oleh karena itu, pihaknya selaku Ketua Komisi II DPRD Bali akan mendorong Pemerintah Provinsi Bali agar memberikan rekomendasi kepada asosiasi untuk mengatur distribusi ternak, baik ternak babi maupun sapi Bali.
“Tadi saya sudah rapat dengan staf ahli, itu ajuan dari Komisi II DPRD Bali untuk bisa kita bentuk Pansus, supaya ada payung hukumnya bagi penguatan asosiasi,” paparnya.
Disamping itu, Kresna Budi juga akan mendorong Perusda nantinya untuk membentuk pabrik pakan di Bali. Bahkan, program-program dari Dinas Pertanian terkait penanaman jagung dalam skala besar akan didorong menjadi program unggulan Gubernur Bali, dalam membantu memaksimalkan fungsi lahan yang ada di Bali.
“Mungkin setelah reses kita akan bentuk Pansus dan bulan-bulan ini sudah terbentuk, sambil menyikapi Hari Raya Idul Adha. Kita akan segera bergerak,” tegasnya.
Disisi lain, Ketua Asosiasi Pengusaha Daging dan Ternak (Aspednak) Bali Made Ray Sukarya dan Ketua Asosiasi Pengirim Sapi Bali (APSB) Komang Mahendra Wistawan sangat mengapresiasi keinginan Pemerintah dalam mengatur distribusi ternak.
Bahkan, pihaknya mengucapkan terima kasih dengan keteraturan adanya asosiasi, sehingga diharapkan perlindungan kepada peternak menjadi lebih baik terkait kestabilan harga ternak.
“Selama ini jatuhnya harga ternak, itu karena pengirim ternak gontok-gontokan mengirimkan ternak. Jadi, ternak penuh di pasaran, tapi harga jatuh.
Melalui asosiasi, maka harga itu disesuaikan dengan lebih tidak merugikan peternak dan juga tidak merugikan konsumen kedepannya,” pungkasnya. (Surya).
