Merasa ketakutan didatangi para nelayan tersebut, Bakri bersama 4 ABK nya langsung terjun ke laut menyelamatkan diri. Tak mau hasil kejaran mereka mati tenggelam para nelayan itu kembali mengangkat Bakri beserta ABK nya dari laut dan membawanya ke daratan. Sementara nelayan lainnya membawa perahu pencakar kerang tersebut ke pinggir laut dan langsung membakarnya hingga tinggal puing.
Mengetahui adanya pembakaran perahu itu pihak Polairud I Deli Serdang markas Pantai Labu yang dipimpin Kanit markas Iptu R.Lubis langsung mengamankan para tekong dan ABK ke markas Polairud .sementara itu pihak Polsek Beringin yang juga tiba di lokasi yang di pimpin Kasubsektor pol Pantai Labu Iptu Sopar Sitorus dan Masi Humas Iptu J.Tarigan serta Babinsa Serda Khairul ZZ mengamankan lokasi untuk menjaga agar para nelayan tidak bertindak anarkis terhadap para ABK tersebut.
