SURABAYA-JAWA TIMUR, BERITATERKINI.CO.ID | Bawang putih impor dari China sudah datang melalui 3 pelabuhan besar di Indonesia yakni Tanjung Priok (Jakarta), Tanjung Perak (Surabaya), dan Pelabuhan Belawan (Medan) serta via Batam, sejak 11 Maret lalu.
“Kementerian Pertanian (Kementan) memastikan stok bawang putih di seluruh Indonesia aman dan tersedia dalam jumlah yang cukup,” ucap Direktorat Jenderal (Dirjen) Hortikultura, Kementan, Prihasto Setyanto saat memantau kedatangan bawang putih impor di Balai Karantina Tanjung Perak, Surabaya, Senin (30/3/2020).
Bawang putih impor kali ini didatangkan oleh CV. Semangat Tani Maju Bersama (STMB) yang sudah mendapat rekomendasi dan izin impor dari pemerintah. Total sudah ada 7.700 ton bawang putih yang telah masuk melalui Surabaya.
“Hari ini di Tanjung Perak, Surabaya kedatangan 1.500 ton bawang putih impor dari China dengan menggunakan 40 kontainer. Kedatangan bawang putih ini diharapkan akan menurunkan harga bawang putih dari 30.000 per Kg menjadi 20.000 hingga 25.000 per Kg,” jelas Prihasto.
Dikatakan, nantinya setiap pekan akan ada 100-150 kontainer yang mendarat di empat pelabuhan di Indonesia. Sehingga masyarakat diminta untuk tidak melakukan panic buying, karena pemerintah tetap menjaga pasokan bahan baku.
“Kedatangan ini akan berlanjut terus, sudah ada jadwalnya sampai akhir tahun. Minggu depan juga akan ada yang masuk lagi. Karena kami sudah menerbitkan RIPH 450.000 ton bawang putih untuk 54 importir,” tegasnya.
54 importir ini juga memiliki kewajiban menanam bawang putih di Tanah Air yang bekerjasama dengan petani lokal. Dan ini berlaku langsung setelah bawang putih impor pesanan mereka datang hingga 1 tahun ke depan.
Tak hanya bawang putih, Kementan juga telah menerbitkan rekomendasi impor bawang bombay yang sekarang harganya melejit hingga Rp 120 ribu per Kg.
“Importir yang mendapat izin sudah melakukan pembelian bawang bombay dari Tiongkok, Australia dan New Zeland,” ucap Prihasto. Pihaknya telah menerbitkan rekomendasi impor sebanyak 227 ribu ton.
“Pertengahan April nanti akan datang bawang bombay sehingga harga bisa turun hingga 25.000 per Kg. Jadi kami minta sekali lagi masyarakat jangan khawatir, kami menjamin ketersedian pangan di Indonesia selama Covid-19 ini akan tetap aman dan terkendali,” tandasnya. /Beritaterkini.
